How Can You Get Involved?

Attend a Reentry Coalition Meeting

The Reentry Coalition meets the second Friday of every other month from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. in the Centre County Correctional Facility Community Room.  If you would like to attend a meeting, please contact us.

Join a Subcommittee

Life Skills Committee:  The Life Skills Committee was formed to look at what skills are essential to navigating everyday life and to being a successful contributor to society; and to look at the gap between programming available within the Centre County Correctional Facility, and the programs that are available in the community.

Community Outreach Committee:  The Community Outreach Committee was formed to determine how to best educate the community about why reentry is so important not only to individuals leaving the correctional facility, but also to community safety.  Another goal of the committee is to reduce stigma that is associated with reentry, and provide community members with ways that they can help in reentry efforts.

If you would like to join either the Life Skills or Community Outreach Committees, please contact us.

Host an Informational Session

By hosting an informational session, you can help educate the community about reentry and reduce stigma surrounding reentry.  The Reentry Coalition will be more than happy to present about the importance of reentry at your organization.
