Supports for Family and Friends in Centre County

Al-Anon/Alateen- A Twelve-Step organization for the families and loved ones of alcoholics. Meetings are widely available and free of charge. Centre County Info: www.pa-al-anon.org

PALS: Parents of Addicted Loved Ones -This support group is open to parents, spouses, family members, and supportive others who are dealing with another’s addiction. No cost or pre-registration required. There are two meeting locations in Centre County:

Life Recovery - Beginning March 30th @ 6:30pm at Access Church. Meeting will be held every Thursday in the fellowship hall. The church is located at 3601 S. Atherton St, State College. Coffee and light refreshments provided.

BALM - Be a loving mirror - Support group for family members who have loved ones in addiction via Applegate Recovery in April.

AddictionSurvivors.org - A not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing peer support communities for those with addiction disorders and their families and friends.
