The Herr Clinic: https://old.ed.psu.edu/epcse/cedar-clinic/cedar-clinic
The Counselor Education program at the Dr. Edwin L. Herr Clinic aims to provide strengths-based counseling services to promote mental health and wellness for the Penn State Community. The Herr Clinic delivers such services by both doctoral and master’s level students in the Counselor Education program. We maintain two primary goals of the Counselor Education program: 1) to provide individual/group counseling to Penn State students enrolled at University Park and non-students, and 2) to provide supervised clinical training to both counselor education master's and doctoral students. We provide unlimited counseling sessions for clients and charge no fee for services for Penn State students. Additionally, we utilize advanced assessment, recording and documentation technologies. *Sessions are recorded because therapists are counselors in training and under supervision.
